We received ALL we shipped to CERN(18 wooden boxes and p1-p5). 9
chambers are now in Bld 180. All the others are sitting high in Bld
184 next to Barrel chambers.
We moved the parts in the two longest wooden boxes out and relocated
them so that the boxes can be moved out of bld 184 next week when we
have crane to move out three Itallian chambers. We have no space in
bld 184 to fit these two boxes so far.
Thanks to the three students, Jeff, Alan and Reza. They worked very
hard and get the work done today.
Next week, our major work is to open all boxes and relocate the parts
and tools. Jeff's job will be to start set up the three DAQ system for
cosmic ray test. He already started doing it this afternoon. In
addition, we need to set up two stations.
Joerg came to bld 184 this afternoon. Honeycomb(?) and two tables will
be stored in the gas room up the workshop.
We discussed how to have tempornary internet lines. He will find two
switch boxes to bridge the BNC and the standard internet cable.
Joerg is also looking for two cables for the gas system
controller. Once he have them, we can test the system.
Joerg discussed with me and we two agreed to use bottle Helium.
Electricity in barrack outside of bld 184 was cut due to water leaks,
according to Willian. He is working on solved the problem. Also Joerg
is arranging people to clean it (something in the cabinet has to be
moved out. We don't know to whom it belongs).
We already bought a small and simple fridge and microwave oven so that
our team can be a little bit convenient to work in bld 184.
