Michigan B184 Update October 1, 2004

1) Chambers passing CR test
 
  a) Chambers passing CR test this week: EML5A13, EMS5A14, EML3A03
  b) Total number of chambers passing CR test at CERN:   68
 
2) Chambers in progress

  EML5C01: CR data taking
  EML5C09: Dark current test
  EMS5A12: (This chamber is the one that had been in truck at UM bay
    for CR test.) Replaced ET's, recertified the chamber. will be ready
    for CR data taking after gluing B sensor platform

3) Chambers in hospital.  none

4) Problems and other issues
 
  We received toner for our laser printer. thanks to Shawn, Beth, Bob
  and all who made it available to us fast.

  a) We have finished the last UM chamber (EML3A03) in terms of
  chamber integration and test.  And are working with these that need
  to be retested, first EML5 chambers.
 
  b) We also started to work with UW chambers, mainly apply epoxy to
  their chambers at this stage.

  c) We still need to make effort to make the 4th DAQ system
  working. as expected, our speed is now largely depend on how fast we
  can do the CR test.

  Attached is a file of spreadsheet. They are:

  1. Chamber integration status
 
  2. Summary of comments to the chambers 

  3. Chambers that need to replace Mezz cards, HV connectors, and
  install/modify DCS box.  I'll have to recheck these spread sheets at
  some point. However, these spreadsheet more or less tell us our
  status and the chambers that need to be redone. We will first only
  move chambers that need to replace Mezz cards back to bldg 184.
