Back to B184 updates * Previous * Next
Definitions of the numbers listed in Summary table:
N(total) = number of chambers to be worked or reworked at CERN in phase I
N(finished) = number of chamber that have been finished
N(this week) = number of chamber finished this week
1. Summary table
N(total) N(finished) N(this week)
UM 80 80 1
BMC 80 3 2
UW 80 54 3
2. Chamber finished this week: 6
UM: EMSA12 (changed 3 mezz cards and modified HV connector grounding)
UW: EIL4A05, EIL4A11, EML2A01
BMC: EMS1A14, EMS1A16
3. Chambers in progress
UW chamber
EIL4C05: CR test done, cabling and test T sensors and inplane
system.
EIL4C01: Just started
EIL4A15: Recertifying leak rate of the top ML
EML2C11: Taking cr data
EML4A07: Fixed the leak from one half jumper. Measuring the dark
current
EML1C03: Done, except for gluing and test Brandeis T sensors (Paul
and Matt)
BMC: None (waiting for crane to set up a new station)
4. Problems and other issues
a) EML4A07, the dropped chamber in BLDG180, has been moved back to
Bldg184. It's now on the transportation cart. Flushed gas over
night. Tested on tuning the tension bar. This chamber is now in
the "clean" room where temperature is more statble compared with
the hall. A series test will be done, as once Bing listed.
b) We feel that we can regularly working with BMC chambers, at least
so far for EMS1 chambers. Working package and check list have
been established.
c) We still find double counting in total number finished for UW
chambers due to that we didn't subtract the reworked chambers
last week.
