Definitions of the numbers listed in Summary table:
N(total) = number of chambers to be worked or reworked at CERN in phase I
N(finished) = number of chamber that have been finished
N(this week) = number of chamber finished this week

1. Summary table

              N(total) N(finished) N(this week)

Total 240 155 7

2. Chamber finished this week:

UW: EML1C01, EIL4A15, EIL4C01
BMC: EMS1A02, EMS1A04, EMS1A06, EMS1A08

3. Chambers in progress

UW chamber
EML1C05: Mezz card scan
EML2C13: Dark current test
EML1A13: Dark current test
EML1C09: Dark current test

EIL4A03: Tube ML1-3-54 has dark 30-150 nA, leading hot channel in CR data.
Delt with -HV=3200 V for over night, applied HV=3100 V for three days, replace tubelets. DC stays. We will keep HV=3200 V till sunday or monday, then retake cr data.

BMC chambers
EMS1C10: cr test done. will test T sensors and inplane system.
EMS1C14: flush gas and measure leak rate

UM chamber
EML4A07: Test finished. Chamber is still keep on rotator.

4. Problems and other issues

  a) Paul and Matt are making great effort to overcome the bottle neck
from gluing and testing Brandeis T sensors onto EML1
chambers. Next Monday we may be able to free some stations
     occupied by EML1 chambers.

  b) ETs on BMC chambers are not fully tighten and eventually pretty
loose. We retighten them after modifying HV grounding. Three ETs
have been treated with die (by David) so that they are able to be
tightened. (no big force is applied for tightening the ETs).

O-rings on the blind plugs on the ETs are usually damaged. We
     need to replace them.

  c) For EMS1A04, inplane system test for SD, LD failed, possibly due
to that the lenses were not properly fixed/glued in the right
position. Informed BMC and Jim looked at them in BLDG184. There
might be chance in 1.9 to fix them, according to Jim and Matt.

  d) BMC raised concern on how to handle BMC chambers when one has to
deal with ETs, open FC to access tubes..... A meeting is
scheduled for this afternoon to discuss how to effectively work
on BMC chambers. I have sent my suggested list for discussion.

  e) I attached the check list for working on BMC chambers. The list
was modified from UM one by Alex and me. If you have any concern
and suggestions on it, please let us know.

Weekend again, and feels like a short blink. Wish you all a nice weekend,

Zhengguo and David
