Michigan B184 Update April 15, 2005

3. Chambers in progress

  BMC chamber
    EIS2C12: ready for cr test
    EIL2A09: ready for cr test  
    EIS1C14: cr data shows "low correlation efficiency" for all mezz
             cards.
    EIS1A16:  the same as above
    EIL1A11:  the same as above

4. Problems and other issues

  a) We are unable to perform cr test because that the Mezz card ASD
     database is not available to the operators. Claudio has been
     making great effort, with helps from Harvard experts and
     Tiesheng. Now we are able to take cr data, but information "low
     correlation efficiency" appears to all Mezz cards for all the
     three chambers that are taking cr data. Claudio is working on
     it. We cannot do anything without solving this problem.

     We have lost a couple of days due to this problem. 

   b) Dave made a tool so that we now are able to lift chambers
      directly from the box with the crane in bldg184. The operation
      is safe and easy.  This helps a lot our work for BMC chambers.

  c) The second round of B sensor test in Bldg184 with EML1C11 is
     again not sucessful. Experts are still working on it.

  d) EIL1A09 from H8 is now in Bldg 184. The other one of BMC chamber
     at H8 is still there, waiting for Willian to dismount it from the
     frame. We have been keeping requesting these two chambers for
     months. Dave will talk to William again this afternoon. According
     to Joerg, we probably won't have it before the end of this month.
