- Unpacked boxes from Dec, 2003 chamber shipment. Set up
B184.

- Unpacked, sorted boxes from shipment.
- Got B184 built-in gas system working
- Worked on 2 gas testing carts and cosmic ray DAQ.
- EMS5A08: Applied epoxy to tubelets.
- February 5, 2004 Details
- 2 rolling carts were assembled for EMS5 and EML3
chambers.
- EML3C01: Finished applying tubelet epoxy. Installed T
sensors + cabling

- EMS5C16: Want to re-certify gas system.
- February 19, 2004 Details
- Italian group vacated B184.
- Assembled an EMS5 rolling cart.
- EML3C01: Installed B sensor mounts. Flushed with 4 gas
volumes, and started CR testing.
- EMS5A08: Installed T sensors and alignment cabling + B
sensor mounts.
- EMS5C16: Re-certified gas system. Testing dark
current.
- March 5, 2004 Details
- EMS5C16, EML3C01: CR tested. Crated and ready to go to
B180.
- EML4A15: Has several hot channels; treated with -HV over
weekend.
- EMS5A08: Chamber had failed longterm leak test. Now cracks
found on endplugs.
- March 12, 2004 Details
- EML4A15: Treated with -HV; had hot channels with 12.5+25ns
spikes, re-crated
- EMS5A08: Cracks found in 10 endplugs, coated these with
epoxy.
- EML3C03: Treated 3 high dark current tubes with -HV; also
had un-explained HV trips.

- EML4A15: Passed CR test and re-crated.
- EML3C03, EML4C09: Undergoing CR test.
- EMS5C12: Tubelets painted with epoxy; Survey & B
sensors platforms glued, pressure tested; cabling
installed.
- EMS5A02: Tubelets painted; Survey & B sensors platforms
glued; cabling installed & tested.
- EML4A11: T sensors tested, being cabled.
- March 26, 2004 Details
- EMS5A08,EMS5C12,EMS5A02 : Passed gas leak test. EMS5A08 had
11 cracked endplugs, and all endplugs were sealed with
epoxy.
- Signal HH cards are successfully cleaned with acetone.
- April 2, 2004 Details
- EML3C03, EMS5C12: Cosmic-ray tested, EML4A11 in
progress.
- EML4A09, EML3C09 : Epoxied, cabling done, HH cards
installed.
- EMS5A08: Careful leak scan with He. Seems OK
- EMS5A02: Leaks at 20 mbar/day and being leak scanned with
He, but can't find leaks.
- April 8, 2004 Details
- EML4A09, EML3C09: Cosmic-ray tested.
- EML4A03: Cabled, T sensors tested. Installed HV and SHH
cards.
- EML3C13: Reglued crossbeam T sensors; started cabling.
- EMS5A08: Leak tested to 5 mbar/day.
- EMS5A02: Leaks at 15 mbar/day, applied epoxy at some tube
ends, will retest for leaks.
- April 16, 2004 Details
- EMS5A08: Cosmic-ray tested. Total CR Certified: 10
- EML4A03: Ready for CR test.
- EML3C13: Mezz cards installed, CR test next week.
- EML3A15: Applying tubelet epoxy.
- EMS5A02: Apply epoxy to all tube ends. (has leaky
endplugs)

- EML4A03, EML3C13: CR tested. Total CR Certified: 12
- EMS4C16: Started work. Needs to be leak certified.
- EML4A07: Applied epoxy, T sensor cabling
- EML3A15: Applied epoxy, glued B sensor platforms.
- EMS5A02: Finished epoxying endplugs.
